Welcome Chantal Fields, WVAHC new Executive Director!

Chantal replaces Terri Giles who resigned in December to spend more time in Hinton and to pursue other projects.  Chantal is an experienced non-profit manager and advocate.  She worked for the West Virginia Lung Association for more than 20 years where she headed up projects to reduce teen smoking and increase the tobacco tax in West Virginia.  She has a bachelors and masters degree in Journalism from West Virginia University.

“We feel very fortunate to have someone as experienced and talented as Chantal to lead WVAHC,” said Perry Bryant, president of the board of directors.  “I am thrilled to have been chosen as director,” Chantal said.  “This is a critical time for health care justice, and I am glad to be part of the effort.”
