We’re seeking dynamic, engaging session proposals that explore child health policy and practice through research, lived experience, direct service, and advocacy. We especially encourage proposals grounded in West Virginia–specific, community-rooted approaches to addressing health disparities.
Presentations should be policy-focused and/or practice-based and designed to actively engage participants while offering actionable policy insights, data, case examples, or advocacy strategies that improve outcomes for children and families and strengthen systems of care in West Virginia.
All presentations will occur in-person, on October 22nd, 2026 in Charleston, WV.
Proposals are welcome from health care and social service providers, policymakers, advocates, researchers, educators, community leaders, and individuals with lived experience.
If you’re interested in sharing your expertise or on-the-ground experience—and helping shape child health policy and practice in West Virginia—we encourage you to submit a proposal!
